REAR-ENDINGS...!!

Okay, so after being rear-ended not once, but TWICE in the span of just two weeks, I began to ponder what the hell lesson this is supposed to be teaching me...

Was I traveling too fast, do I need to slow down?
- No
Am I supposed to get up off my Rear-End and exercise more??
- No. Well maybe...:)

Sunny and I even asked some of our friends their thoughts on the incidences and got responses such as:

Stop Driving!
and
Make sure your brake lights are working.

No, that's not it either. Then I thought maybe this was my opportunity to STOP reading into things so much!!

And then my Ah-Ha moment.

Rear-Endings.
Things end.
However so many times, we don't let them. We keep dragging them out in our minds forever, never fully giving closure to something in our past, and it prevents us from moving forward completely. Without that weight slowing us down.

It can take forever and a day to actually accomplish this sometimes, but the possibility is always there. Let go! Put the past in your rear!

Today I celebrate Rear-Endings...

~ H A P P Y ~

Sunny & Erin set out to do an experiment. We decided to keep our eyes peeled for anything around us that was an example of Happiness. We found things!

First of all, it's SPRING in New England... How happy is that!!! With it comes the singing of birds and people outside enjoying all types of activities we've been deprived of for so long. We saw so many people walking outside SMILING - vs. fighting the wind or cold.

Examples include a young father walking along holding his little baby boy - smiling. An ordinary couple walking and holding hands, pointing out something in a store front - smiling. A man in his car with the windows down, reading something on his cell phone - smiling. Someone in their car at a red light, enthusiastically drumming on their dashboard. The list goes on.

This isn't about weather, as many of us enjoy the snow. What it's about is that when you look for something, you find it. We set out to look for happy, and we found happy.

What we noticed too, is with seeing happy things, we smiled a little more ourselves. Then with smiling more, we noticed that WE were just a slight bit happier.

Take notice of your face at various times through the day. Try curling up the edge of your lips just ever so slightly. Not so much so that you look like you're sitting there smiling for no reason (although that's really funny too, and it makes people wonder. So actually, go ahead and do that too!), but just ever so slightly so that you can feel a lift in your spirit.

Cheers - to these first moments of glorious Spring, and to finding what you are looking for...!
